Since 2008, IPC’s annual Battle of the Bands charity event has donated nearly $100,000 to organizations such as, Winthrop University Hospital’s Cancer Center for Kids (CCK), Little Kids Rock and Autism Speaks. 2012 brings an inspiring new charity, additional band and incredible raffle prizes you won’t want to miss.
IPC is collaborating with The Boomer Esiason Foundation, a non-profit organization which benefits those with Cystic Fibrosis. BEF is dedicated to heightening awareness, education and quality of life for those affected by CF, while providing financial support for research towards a cure, scholarships and transplant grants. All proceeds from Battle of the Bands will go directly to The Boomer Esiason Foundation's Transplant Grants. These grants provide financial assistance for those who have been given a second chance with a double-lung transplant. The financial assistance goes towards medical costs involved with the procedure that are not covered by insurance, as well as expenses associated with relocating to the transplant site.
